The inSynch has become one of my favorites. The only think I’d like to see changed is the removal of the header area and the navigation floating vertically left or right. Either way I think this is a pretty good site at http://beginningbellydancing.com.
I used the layered slider for the full width and had some problems with it getting it to load quickly at first and determined (finally) there’s was a plug in conflict. The layered slider is very functional and well worth the $17.00 asking price and when contrasted to the Genesis Responsive slider is a hands down winner. If you want the full width effect this is the way to go and you can layer other elements on top and time those elements.
I also changed the width on the header to 1000px. The purpose of the site is as the delivery horse for mobile based belly dance video instruction. The customer will buy the mobile app from the amazon, or apple or the play google store, then register for a u/n and p/w using wishlist member and then get mobile responsive full length belly dance instructional videos delivered to their phone that are segmented by chapter. I”m not using the mobile responsive feature of the theme, rather an HTML5 web app is called when a user hits the site with a phone, or tablet and then the additional functionality is added on the video pages using the wp-touch plug in (free version). I have created two others just like this for the same customer for other Belly Dance DVD collections at http://hipmastery.com and http://bellydancetrainingfromhome. Just have to launch these apps to the app stores.
