      I use the genesis enews widget extended in the header right section of my site and the input box and submit button were side by side on the same line.

      After upgrading to legacy 1.3 the submit button now shows up on its own line and makes the header much larger then it needs to be.

      how do I get them back on the same line?

            Try adding a width (any size) to – “.enews-widget input” around line 1106 in your css.
