      I have been trying to customize my wordpress I bought the Epik theme then the Genesis theme. I am trying g to figure out how to get a full size header and get the theme to look good on my site. II was looking for a how to video on youtube on where to put the widgets and the man in the video shows he installed a styles plugin the one he was using is Styles 1.1.8 and then he said “you should get this plugin from your account or email” I never got a email with anything to download just my receipt for buying the theme and then the man shows he has a licence key I never go one of those ether he says the plugin is what makes the theme work which makes sense he shows where he can fully customize his Epik theme with the widgets I don’t have half the widgets he has he had one called global default and he shows what all the theme can do. I feel like I am missing parts to the theme. PS: the video I watched was “customize the Genesis Epik Theme in minutes without code”
      I hope you can help me.

        No you don’t need a license or any other plugin in order to make Epik work. That video you’re talking about wasn’t created by Appfinite, that is a 3rd party plugin that someone made, but you don’t need it for Epik.

        The tutorials to get Epik setup and working are located at the top of the Epik Forum page here – https://appfinite.com/forum/epik-theme-support/

        You can use this link in order to import all the widget content from the Epik demo automatically – https://appfinite.com/topic/easy-way-to-setup-the-epik-homepage-in-one-click/ …you can add them in manually if you want to, there are tutorials that help with that.

          Thanks Eric for the reply I will be working on my site and take your advice with the widgets from the forum. I am glad you pointed out that the plugin was a 3rd party plugin I was looking in my theme folders and couldn’t find anything so thanks again for letting me know about that.
