Jump Link to Portfolio

Can I use jump links to the Portfolio template from the Home Page (front page 2 widget)? I know how to correctly set up jump links and anchor text, but it isn’t working.

Any work-arounds?

There’s no portfolio template on the homepage, are you referring to the “Learn to attract more customers” section? If so, here is a direct link to that section in the demo – http://demo.appfinite.net/guru/#front-page-2

Is that what you meant? Or are you asking if you can add the portfolio template to the homepage? Let me know if I’m misunderstanding

I created a portfolio page using the portfolio template. The portfolio page works great, but I’d like to link from the homepage to different areas on the portfolio page.

I created anchor tags where I want to jump to, by putting the anchor tag on the correlating posts. But that didn’t work. My jump link just goes to the portfolio page, not the right section within the page.

Ok, now I see what you mean. I had to do a test on a local site to see. What I’ve noticed is that it works in Firefox, but not in Chrome for some reason. Although, this link seems to work fine in Chrome – https://appfinite.com/theme-setup/guru-theme-setup/#ihp

I have no idea why that’s happening. I’ll try again and see if something comes up.
