      Hi, I just created my homepage (finally!) and I’m so excited about getting this whole thing up. I created another page for the blog to house all the content but I was wondering how I can use a different header for the blog as opposed to the homepage.

      My website is http://jasonhjh.com. Could you teach me how I can create separate headers for different pages? Perhaps in the future, I might create independent landing pages and portfolio pages that require different headers.

          That might be kind of difficult with the Genesis Framework as it will definitely require some coding. Are you referring to your logo, or your entire header area? Either way it will still require some coding to do something like this, as you would need to write custom conditional PHP code for each page that you want to override when the page is accessed.

            Hey Eric,

            I appreciate your help! Hmm, for now, I am only thinking of creating an entirely separate header for my homepage, and have the blog use a different header. The blog can use the same header across all the other pages on my website as well. Will I really need to code to do this? Or should I shift the header on my homepage somewhere else? My header currently contains a picture (that replaces the logo) and an email signup widget on the right. You can see it here if it’s hard to visualise -http://jasonhjh.com

              I posted this same question in a small forum of developers to see if someone can give me some ideas. I’ve seen a similar question as this so it would be good to see what they have to say if someone is able to check it out. I’ll post here if there’s a reply.
