      We are using Genesis with Optimal child theme and having major issues on a clients site. The site runs fine and than all of a sudden the theme (not any plugins- as we checked) is causing the theme to crash, blocking us out from WP backend totally.

      As soon as we apply the OPTIMAL child theme on this Genesis theme, we get this error message:

      //404
      Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/davwei44/bodyworksdw.com/wp-content/themes/optimal/functions.php:2) in /home/davwei44/bodyworksdw.com/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1173

      And it blocks us out of even the wp backend with no way of getting anything fixed until we contact (our server) dreamhost who clear it out to the default theme. All the widget areas vanish and we have to rebuild and this has happened 3 times already. Any ideas or ways to fix? We have been troubleshooting for 2 weeks without a solution.

      We are using the exact same theme on http://www.thewilltodogood.org and it is also on dreamhost, but has no issues what-so-ever. So we are at a loss here on what to do.
      Thank you

        Yes that is definitely an external issue that is causing that to happen, as I’ve never seen had this issue come up from using this theme. Is it possible that you have a temporary/admin FTP and WP admin password so I can login and take a look to see if I can figure out what the issue is?
