I have been using the Optimal theme for projects. I noticed the latest release is different now. The widgets are going from Welcome, slider, etc to Front page 1, Front page 2, etc. I am unable to locate the latest theme documentation to set it up for my customer.

Where is the latest theme documentation to set up/configure the Optimal theme?

hi Eric yup saw that but it doesnt reflect the new widgets. am I missing something?

@rasolis I renamed the older widgets to Front Page 1, 2, 3 etc since that’s the direction the newer themes are being developed (Here and StudioPress as well).

Everything still works the same, but due to the way I renamed the widgets you’ll need to drag the widgets into the new renamed widget locations.

And here are the newer Widget location names (they’re all labeled Front Page 1, 2, 3, etc) – https://appfinite.com/img/optimal-widgets-2.jpg

Once I installed the new version of Optimal, it only took a few seconds to re-drag the old widgets into the newer widget locations. They should show up in your inactive widget locations in the same order that they were positioned in the previous version of the theme. So all you would need to do is drag each one over to the new locations.
