I actually need to rework the parallax feature, so it was removed temporarily, but I did add a way to have the CSS behave in a similar way.
The “Parallax” type feature is CSS based (for now), so it works a little different than the real Parallax scrolling. As soon as you add a background image, it will automatically be in a “fixed” position and everything inside of the widget area will scroll in the opposite direction of the background image. However, if you want the real Parallax code, you can add it in by following a tutorial like this – http://bit.ly/1kjFO5S First add your image and see if you like it the way that it is by default, if not then try that tutorial above and it will add the javascript and everything else you need to use Parallax.
