I’m using images with a width of 1600 pixels, on higher resolutions this results in the image going completely to the left of the screen and leaving a space open on the right. Can the slider be in the centre?

Which slider are you using? Because some sliders like the Genesis Slider can’t center due to the way their coded.

Using the Genesis Responsive Slider as suggested in the theme doc’s, is there a better alternative?

I thought you should be able to do it with that plugin since it is responsive. Do they not have an option to do so? What if you try setting the width to a large number?

If that doesn’t work, there are a few premium plugins out there that can definitely work as full width. Like this one for example – http://demo.appfinite.net/ally/ here is their site – http://kreaturamedia.com/layerslider-responsive-wordpress-slider-plugin/ It’s like $15 bucks, which is very cheap considering all that it can do.

              Hi Eric,
Notice your offer to send a demo of the kreatureamedia slider demo. I would like to take you up on that offer if it is still open. I went to their site and submitted or wanted to submit a support ticket with questions but they have a 5 to 7 day lead time on answering tickets they say.
              Thanks

              Dan
