      Hi Wes,
I’ve built dozens of sites with your Legacy, Epik and Optimal Themes (let me know when you get get your showcase up), but this is the first site I’ve built with InSync –
      http://www.macrealtyadvisors.com/

My desktop screen resolution is 1920×1080, but the client’s mac screen is something like 2560×1600, so I can’t see what she’s seeing. However, this link is to a screenshot – http://www.macrealtyadvisors.com/wp-content/uploads/MAC-Realty-Screen-Shot.png

Note the gap of purple between the slider and home-feature-1. It appears that the height of the slider is dependent upon the padding applied to .slider .wrap and not the content of the slider div. I can’t seem to figure out how to make look good in both of the of desktop resolutions I mentioned above. (Mobile responsive code aside for this conversation).

Any thoughts or suggestions? I love this Theme but I have never encountered this type of issue, of course the unhappy client thinks I’m an idiot. If the Theme didn’t have the parallax scrolling would that solve the issue? Can I easily disable the parallax to see what happens?

      Many thanks,
      Danna

ok, well it would help if I even knew which Theme I was working on. It’s using SquareOne, not InSync. Let me recalibrate, and I might make a post in that forum.

I saw this the other day but couldn’t reply since I didn’t see the issue either. I wanted to wait until I was back at home in front of my Larger Display monitor. At first when I viewed the site on the Larger Monitor I still didn’t see the issue, but then I resized the browser a little and I can now see the extra space under the slider area.

So the way that happens is if a user is browsing the site on a large screen with the browser height reaching the top and bottom of the screen. They would also have to shrink/resize the width of the browser in order for this issue to appear. This most likely won’t happen to the majority of the viewers as it took for me to do all of those steps in order for it to show up like that.

I’ll keep taking a look to see if it’s possible to have it working with the current setup. If not then you’ll probably have to adjust/remove something. If you want to try temporarily removing the Parallax features first, you can. If that does something let me know. I’ll keep taking a look.

            Hi Wes,
Thanks so much for your response.

Net net, once I started focusing on the right Theme, and looking at the SquareOne using ScreenFly to see various screen resolutions, and then understanding how the Theme’s home page image was designed to work, I was able to work through my code and get it right.

So sorry to waste your time!
            Best, Danna

              Glad you got it working.

The site is looking great by the way!
