This may sound like an odd question but what I am wondering is can I use the elements on the buttons page of the Epik theme on other genesis child themes?

I’m real happy with Epik theme on one of my sites, but one of my new sites needs a different look so I’m looking at other child themes, only because I don’t want the sites to look the same.

The thing that I don’t like about other child themes that StudioPress make themselves is they don’t have the types of buttons available.

I’d prefer to avoid using some plugin just for short codes if that’s at all possible?

      Thanks,
      Adam

Yes this can easily be done. All you would need to do is copy the css that you want to use and add it in whatever theme you’re going to use it in. The HTML will still be the same, you just need the css added to your stylesheet in order for it to show up with the same styling.

          That’s great news, thanks Wes.

Which bit of the CSS would I need to copy?

          Thanks!

Take a look at the section labeled “Buttons”. You can see the list and the order that they are in at the top of the css file.
