Child Theme help please?

      Wes I installed Genesis first, then Epik, now my question is:

      Does epik become automatically the child theme? Or do I have to add a child theme on top of Epik and genesis?

      If yes, could I install any of the famous plugins that create a child theme automatically for you? This way if Update WP, the changes and customization will stay the same. Thank you, I would appreciate your help!!!

        Yes Epik is the Child theme, and Genesis (the framework) is the Parent theme.
