Hello!

I notice that the page URLS in my recently launched website display, for instance, as follows:

instead of as: /about us.

How can this be changed to append the relevant page name instead — is it as simple as changing the page permalinks in the WP dashboard?

Yes you can change this by changing the option in your Permalinks settings page. Just choose which format you want from the selection.

Thanks Wes — I added a custom /page-title structure under Permalink Settings and that seems to have fixed it!
