Basic getting started questions

I have installed and activated both the Legacy and Adapt themes (also Genesis). When I preview either theme, none of the menus or anything come up when I preview my page. Can you point me to the direction as to what I need to do? you can see what I get at everthoughtful.com . I’m new to this so I’m sure I’m missing something basic.

Make sure your Menus are set in your WP Menu administration page under “Theme Locations”. You probably just need to re-select the Primary and Seconday menu under the “Theme Locations”. Whenever you switch themes the “Theme Locations” resets, thats why that happens. Also, make sure the menu you are using in your Genesis Theme Settings are enabled.
