      Hey Wes,

This is my first mobile responsive theme, so I have some Q’s: (I’ll separate them out for different ticket topics).

If I want to change the ‘order’ of the ‘sections’ (home-feature-sidebar, home-feature-1/2, etc…) as they show up in a mobile environment, do I just move them around in the applicable file (e.g. home php) etc?

And if so, will moving them around affect how they layout in a traditional desktop view?

      Thanks!

        Hello Mitch,

Yes if you want to move some things around on the homepage, you would have to do this from the home.php file. Keep in mind that the order will be the same for the desktop and mobile view, there isn’t a way to have them show a different layout/order. In other words they can’t be separated, both desktop and mobile can only show the same site/layout/order. Everything adjusts when in mobile view. If you resize your browser you’ll get an idea of what I’m talking about.

Let me know if that helps

I have a similar question in regards to the order displaying on a mobile device.

          Example page: http://www.firenews.net/8488/firefighter-rescues-child-from-house-fire/

We have that set for Secondary/Content/Primary

On the iPhone, it displays as Content/Primary/Secondary.

Not a big deal, but not ideal.

Thats just the way Genesis (the framework) handles the sidebars. I don’t know of a way to customize the order when viewed on mobile phones.

OK, thanks for the quick response.

Not a biggie (I’m probably the only one that notices it!)

              All the best,
