      Hi Wes,

The Optimal theme seems to be exactly what I was looking for and I’ve been able to customize a few things fairly easily, I just have a couple questions that I can’t quite figure out on my own.

The slider image area itself isn’t centered horizontally on my homepage.  The arrows and even the drop shadow background for the slider are centered fine.  But the images themselves are pushed to the left.  (To the point that the left arrow is on top of the images, but the right arrow is not.)  I tried various positioning codes in the slider section, but I must have missed the right one because none of them worked.

You can see the site at temp.honeyhivefarms.com/wp/

      Any suggestions?

I always recommend using a plugin called Regenerate Thumbnails whenever changing or adding new image/thumbnail sizes. This plugin will automatically adjust your image sizes to fit the size you have specified immediately (instead of having to wait for the adjustment). Download and run this plugin anytime you add or make changes to your images.

Once you give this a try, let me know if it fixes the issue – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

I tried it, but no luck.  The images still show up shifted to the left.

Looks like you need to set your images to 960px.  The theme width is 960px and you have your images set to 920px.  You can change this in your Genesis Responsive Slider Settings page.

You may need to run the plugin if it doesn’t immediately show…..other than that it will work.

              !!!  Thank you !!!

That worked perfectly!  Not sure when or how it had gotten switched to 920, but it would have taken me years to figure that out.

Thank you so much for your immediate responses!  I have two more questions that will be in separate threads, and then hopefully I won’t have to bother you any more.  🙂

                You’re Welcome!

It’s 2 AM for me, so I’m going to try and get some sleep.  I’ll be back on tomorrow morning to answer your other questions.

                Thanks
