      Hi, folks.

      I’m a newbie to self-hosted WordPress. I decided to go with Genesis framework and the Legacy theme for a business services website.

      Problem is, I’d like my site to more or less look like the Legacy demo (Slides, three columns for images/content beneath that, etc), and I want to do it myself as a newbie/non-coder/non-designer.

      Is there a particular link to some more or less step by step guidance in customizing/designing the Legacy theme?

      Thanks for any help and direction you can give (or not give, if you can’t!).

        There are a couple basic tutorials at the top of the Legacy Forum located here – https://appfinite.com/forum/legacy-theme-support/

        One of those links shows you how to add content inside of the 3 widget areas at the bottom – https://appfinite.com/topic/how-to-setup-the-home-bottom-featured-images/ …you can add any type of content you want in those widget areas.

        There are also some basic tutorials in the menu located here – https://appfinite.com/tutorials/

        Wes is working on creating more tutorials for all themes pretty soon, so stay tuned for that.

          Thanks for the reply, Eric. I really appreciate it. That will be helpful to start.

          I did search around a bit and apparently still missed some stuff here. I think I was in overload between the WP install, the theme/framework research, and the initial attempts to setup. You talked me down, man! 🙂

          I’m looking forward to learning, but I’m sure I’ll have more questions over time.
