When I try to set my logo it ends up in the background. My logo is 200 x 111.

Do you have a link to your site?

Check this out first, it may help you get setup – http://www.carriedils.com/add-logo-genesis-theme/ if you haven’t seen it already.

@asailorslullaby The logo is supposed to be a background image when uploaded using the default WordPress uploader. The reason you can click it is because the title area is a clickable hyperlink that sits right on top of it (it’s transparent so you can’t actually see its there, and that’s what makes it seem like you’re clicking an image……thats the way most Genesis themes are setup that use the default WP uploader.

So if you upload your logo image and you can’t click it or whatever is going on, then we probably just need to make adjustments to the css somewhere. Also, if you haven’t already, make sure the image size you upload is the exact size in your functions file.

I didn’t see a logo when I checked your site, I just saw the text. You would have to upload it so I can see what’s going on with the code.

And yes, as @Eric mentioned, take a look at that link by Carrie, it should help with uploading a logo.

Let me know if any of this helps.
