Another Logo issue

Wes, first of all I Love this theme but I can´t believe there is so much trouble to get the logo the right way for too many people (including me). I read all the posts and issues in the forum, but I can’t get the final touch to get my logo right, so please help me 🙁

First of all, my logo size is 100p x 43p so… I went to my Functions.php and modify the following

// Add support for custom header
add_theme_support( ‘genesis-custom-header’, array(
‘width’ => 100,
‘height’ => 43
) );

Then I went to my .Css and updated…

.header-image .site-title a {
float: left;
min-height: 43px;
width: 100%;
}

And finally update in my .css…

.header-image .site-header .widget-area {
padding: 5px 0;
}

[deleting the line that said padding: 5rem 0;]

Now my header looks like this: http://vanidadweb.com

anything to change or upgrade? Isn’t important the padding: 5rem 0; line for the responsive view? Please I need help with this to make sure I did everything right. In a future it would be great to add a sticky post explaining the logo setting. Thanks a lot and have a nice day!
