      I have trouble with my portfolio page and did already all the changes that you recommend. Such as changing the code on portfolio.php and adding the clear classes.

      Could you take a look at

      The third row shows only two items in stead of 4, while there are four there,

        You added the clear: both code inside of the Responsive section. You need to add this outside of the responsive section in order for it to work. Move it outside of the last bracket in your css, since that hold the responsive area.

          Now at least it is alligned to the left. 🙂
          But still not okay. I also see this enormous gap above the portfolio.
          Any Idea why the third row shows just two pictures?

            Looks like everything is working perfectly.

            The gap is there because you have something inside your content area of the Portfolio page editor. It’s showing a few <p></p> tags which is where that space is coming from.

            The reason the last row only has two pictures is because you have your portfolio settings set to show 10 posts. Increase or decrease this number from your Portfolio Settings at the bottom of the Genesis Theme Settings Page.
