Is this a standalone theme? Or does it need Genesis in order to function? Sorry, I’m new to WordPress.
This is a Child theme so you would need to purchase Genesis (Parent theme) first in order for it to work. It’s like trying to use a WordPress Theme by itself…..you would need WordPress for it to work. Does that make sense?
Gotcha. That makes sense. Well, I guess I’ll be switching over to Genesis. Whatever it takes to get this theme.
Genesis is great, and the Community is what makes it better.

Wes, I really like Guru and Imagery – kudos! In fact I think I’ll use Imagery on a project that kicks off in February.
Just curious why you did not include a portfolio page template in these two themes. I’ve used your themes to build several projects specifically for that template. I assume it’s possible to pull the template from another theme and add it, but please know that it’s a valuable component of your themes and I’d hate to see you do away with it.

I didn’t include them in the recent themes because the code was a bit dated, and there were a few minor issues with it when being used with the latest Genesis Framework Standards.
I do plan to add the portfolio back in the near future, but I just wanted to make sure it’s done right with quality up to date code.
There are some free plugins that you could use from WordPress.org or Premium plugins from a site like codecanyon if you need to use one. Or you could probably try and merge the Portfolio template from one of the other themes and it should work.
I may have to look for another Genesis Developer to help me out with this so we can get it back in the themes a little quicker.
