So I found now the search function here and a similar thread where is said:

That is exactly how you can setup the homepage to look just like the demo, if that’s what you want.”
Well, in the Readme.text the templates features are generally explained, nothing else than this. The Sticky posts are nice, best part is the location guide – however there are code snippets and only god knows where and how to use them or put them in.
