Yes you can do this with this theme. It’s set to show the sidebar and content in the middle of the browser. If you take a look at the Agile theme – http://demo.appfinite.net/agile/ (I’m still finishing the new version of this) you’ll see that the sidebar stays on the left at all times, and the background color reaches the bottom. So if you decided to purchase Classik send me your link and I can help you get this setup. It should be pretty easy to do, we just need to make a couple adjustments.
