Perhaps your browser is showing an older cached version of the site? Can you hit your Reload button on your mobile browser to see if that makes a difference? I’ll need to borrow an iPad to check how it appears on a tablet.

I do plan to add a couple minor updates pretty soon so I’ll be making sure that all responsive issues are fixed when I do. Although, most of the responsive features are working fine, the only thing that wasn’t responsive were the background images a while ago. Background images don’t respond in the same way as inline code, images, or text does…..We have to add some custom workaround code to get background images to respond, but it definitely should be responsive. I’ll have to double check on an iPad to see how it looks. If it’s not showing up right then I’ll be able to get it fixed, it should be pretty easy since I’ve fixed a similar issue on another theme.

I’ll be adding a responsive menu icon (hamburger icon) in the next update.
