    The code you posted is actually what sets up the Genesis Admin options (for the portfolio section). So if you remove that it may remove the Portfolio Options.

    The code that controls the default footer code is located in the Genesis Framework. So in order to edit or remove the footer you have to add some code to your functions file to override it.
