Reply To: SquareOne background images not sizing properly on iPad and iPhone

I ran out of time to respond on a timely basis to the above post, but the issue on the theme zooming and magnifying the background image is still open.

To demonstrate the issue, I created a background image with a grid of lines that are only 1 pixel in width. I then took screenshots of the site with that background image with iPad and iPhone in portrait and landscape.

On the iPhone, the grid lines appear as 1 pixel in width, very thin and sharp.

On the iPad, the grid lines are thick and fuzzy because they have been zoomed in beyond 100% of the original image size (perhaps more like 400%) and magnified by the theme in responsive mode.

This same effect is happening on the background images on the live site, which now live at http://www.beautyanalysis.com.

Not the worst problem in the world to have, but would be nice to get this fixed as the super zoomed in images look odd on the website.
