I’ve only seen the zoom distortion on the iPad, but it’s probably going to be a deal breaker for me too. I like SquareOne much better than Parallax Pro and have used SquareOne for three of my sites. For some background images though, the iPad rendition makes the site look very poorly designed at best and freakish at worst. I hope you can come up with a quick, simple fix so all your SquareOne users can use it without issues.
