This is the first time I’ve heard of something like this happening, can you provide a Temporary User/Password so I can login and see what the issue might be?

If you’ve only uploaded the XML file that comes with the theme, that will only upload the Posts, Pages, Users, Media, and Comments. The default WordPress Importer doesn’t upload Widgets or Background Images. I usually have another plugin to handle the Demo Homepage Widget Content, but didn’t include one for the Elevate Theme since there were only 2 widget areas being used in the demo. I can login to your site to make sure everything is working properly if you want. Everything is working on my end as you can see by looking at the demo which is a basic install of the Genesis Framework and the Elevate theme. If it’s not working on your site, then maybe there is something conflicting with it.
