Wow, let me correct you on a couple things and help you understand what the purpose of a community forum is.

First you need to realize I’M A CUSTOMER, I don’t develop or sell any of the themes here. This is NOT my site. I only help out with support. So yes, you are correct I do volunteer my FREE time to help people, as you can clearly see from any of my 700 replies/posts – https://appfinite.com/users/eric/replies/ So don’t try and post a couple links to make it seem like I’m doing something wrong…..Which I’m not even sure why you posted it in the first place, it only showed how much I was trying to help you…..AND the problem wasn’t even with the theme, it was an external issue NOT caused by the child theme…..So thanks for proving my point 😉

You purchased a THEME for $24 dollars right? Please tell me you didn’t actually expect PREMIUM high level support for free in addition to that? When you purchase a theme, you are purchasing the THEME. When you purchase premium support, you will get premium support. Why is this so difficult to understand? Help me help you understand.

If you’re going to come here and ask someone to help you develop/customize your site for you free, then you might as well not charge your clients anything either. Do you see how silly and ridiculous that sounds? Do you go to the WordPress forums and get upset because people aren’t going to do all of the work for you? Of course not! And why? Because the VOLUNTEERS that reply don’t work for WordPress! You can’t blame WordPress right? Same thing applies here and anywhere else. It simply doesn’t make sense whatsoever, and it’s unfair for you to have such expectations.

Based on your response I can clearly see that you haven’t read the forum rules – https://appfinite.com/topic/forum-rules/ Which clearly explains how THIS forum works. Don’t like it? Don’t use it. Don’t like WordPress? Don’t use it. Don’t like community support? Don’t use it. It’s really that simple.

I told you what you need to do, but I’m guessing you want someone to hold your hand and do all the work for you as well? That’s not the way ANY community support forum works. Go to StudioPress, go to Woothemes or any free support forum and I guarantee you it’s the same process. Just do a search and you’ll see similar posts where they copy/paste the same text that says “Sorry, but that goes beyond the scope of support”. You do know what “Scope of Support” means right? Now would be a good time to research what that actually means. Have you read the rules for this forum you would have seen it.

Some code I can help you with, but some code takes a lot of thought, effort and time (which I don’t have a lot of). You need to remember you are not the only person here. You also did not pay anything for the support you’ve already received. You should seriously be grateful that anyone responded to you…especially if someone is trying to help you! No one is required to answer any of your questions here, so again, be grateful when someone is responding to you. It’s so sad that this even has to be explained. Again, reading the forum rules would have easily helped you to understand.

So either you want the help, or not. If not, no worries, life moves on. No one will notice or be affected if you decide not to make posts here. If you do want the help, then be patient with people and take the time to understand what this forum is here for.
