Activating sidebar items

      When on the Appearance>Widgets page, at the top, it says, “Drag widgets from here to a sidebar on the right to activate them. Drag widgets back here to deactivate them and delete their settings.”. For the Slider, I added the Genesis Responsive Slider, dragged a “Pages” widget into it, and created a page and it is now in the slider. I want to activate more sidebar items and I guess it’s not s simple to just drop Pages in them, because when I do, those pages show up in the Slider. So, the question is, what do I have to do to activate more sidebar items to show up as new “sections” as shown in the epik demo pages (like the alternating black/white/gray sections/sidebars). Are there more step-by-step for dummies available somewhere? Thanks!

        There are a bunch of threads here that you can search for that should also explain how to set it up…..but the tutorials above should be all you need.

          Hi Eric – thanks for the links. Do you have tutorials on how to add more widgets than just the responsive slider? I want to know how to add the “sections” below the Slider using either Posts or Pages (and what’s the better option of the two?). Adding the responsive slider is actually the easiest part! How do you add more widgets? Create more posts/pages and link them to what exactly to make them appear below the slider? Thanks.
