You could create a new widget area and add the slider to it so it shows on every page. If you don’t know how to create a widget in Genesis, you could follow this tutorial – http://www.briangardner.com/welcome-text-widget/ (Google for more tutorials if needed). Make sure and add your code to the functions.php file so it will show on every page.
Elegant Themes has a shortcode collection, one of which is for a slider. I’ve not tried it.
