Adding Words above Slider and Below Menu

How do I add a statement above the slider and below the menu. Something similar to the home bottom message. commanderfitness.com

If your familiar with editing php/html/css then you could take a look in your home.php file and copy the welcome widget area and paste it above the slider. Then you’ll need to rename it to something different….then you’ll need to look at the bottom of your functions.php file and copy the welcome widget register code and rename it to whatever you named it in your home.php file.
