Unfortunately I’m not familiar with that particular plugin. If you’re having issues with it, I doubt that “Ally” is causing the problems, since Ally is just a child theme and doesn’t contain any code that would interfere with any plugins.
If anything, it could be the Genesis Framework itself that its conflicting with. I would try enabling a different Genesis Child theme, and see if the issue happens again (try the sample theme – http://my.studiopress.com/ ).
Also, try activating the Genesis Framework Theme itself and see if it still happens. If it does, then the issue is definitely a conflict with the Genesis framework itself. Of course this doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with Genesis (its possible), but there could be issues with the plugin itself.
You may also want to try deactivating any other plugins you have activated that could be conflicting as well. This is usually the way I find issues, by activating and deactivating plugins and themes to see where the problems are coming from.
