BTW, this theme is getting a massive update, as I’ll be recreating it from scratch so the backend will be just as new and filled with the same features as our latest themes. That means some of the things you see in the Documentation will change. What I have posted there for now is just the basics to get the Theme setup like the demo.
There are 2 easy ways to upload the demo content if you’re interested. The first way is the default WordPress importer which imports Pages, Posts, etc. Although the WP importer won’t upload the Widget content. So to upload the widget content that you see on the homepage, you’ll need to use a different plugin as mentioned here – https://appfinite.com/theme-setup/ally-theme-setup/#ahpw
Remember to have the Slider installed and any other plugins you want to use before you use the Home Page widget uploader so everything uploads smoothly.
