      Hello Team,

I went through the first 20 pages of the epik support forum and have tried all solutions. I also tried the search and every other hint didn’t work.

My website is Senukex.de and I have the Genesis Responsive Slider Widget as the first slider option.

At first I uploaded the pictures exactly as 1152 x 400 px and it did align left. Then I deleted the pictures, uploaded new ones in exactly 1140 x 400 px, re-assigned them as featured images and still the slider is aligned left.

I tried the regenerate thumbnails plugin with either size (1152, 1140) and nothing worked. I have no caching plugins active that could interfere.

I put a text widget in the slider wide widget area and it also aligns left.

I put another slider widget (easing slider pro) in the site and it also aligns left even though this slider should center.

I tried deactivating plugins (one did cause a conflict with the epik footer since its javascript is being executed there) but still nothing.

I have successfully used easing slider pro with the Optimal Theme (FrankenSEO) and the exact same plugins and it works instantly (with a little double shadow bug that I managed to fix).

So here I am, having tried all the solutions inside the support forum but to no avail. The fact that also the text widget aligns left points either to a plugin conflict (that I could not yet narrow down) or there is a bug in the theme. Since it seems to work for others there must be something else. I seek for your advice and want to thank you in advance for any hints.

      Regards, Sebastian

No everything is fine, you just have it in the wrong widget area (slider-wide). Just move it down to the “Slider” widget area and everything should work fine.

Wes added an extra “wide” widget area for people that wanted to use it as an option without having to code it.

I should have tried that long before and feel a little stupid now.
Also I’m relieved that the issue could be dealt with so easily.
          Thank you for your help.
You may close this thread now.

PS: I read somewhere that it should be placed in the slider wide, so I didn’t bother with testing the other option. Lesson here: try it first, it may fix the problem. Thanks. 🙂
