Tagged: seo with Aspire
Dear Wes: Sorry to be such a clutz. I’ve looked all over and can’t find out where to put in meta description to better promote the site through google search. When I search online, I get the idea that I should see an “seo” tab on the Genesis items, but I don’t. The SEO configuration for Yoast doesn’t show any thing useful, but I could be missing something. I see at “titles & Metas” an opportunity to propose a “meta description template”.. is that text box where I’m supposed to type something new? Currently only the site name is appearing on HTML ouptut from the WordPress installation. Thanks for any quick tips.
Unfortunately I don’t know how to use that plugin just yet. I have it installed on a site but haven’t really set it up.
I’d recommend posting in their Support Forum to see how to do it. They’ll be able to help much better than I can.
Edit: What if you click that button that says “Edit Snippet”? The title and description should show up I think. Not sure if that’s what you’re referring to or not.
Just checking in to see if you gave that button a try?
