Hi,
I need your help.
I can see the background image on Widget Home (Desktop Version), however the mobile version doesn’t work. Why?
Thank you
Do you have a link to your site so I can see what’s going on?
Did you add any custom code to the theme? There appears to be something custom added that is causing the issue. I just want to make sure so I can know what’s going on. If you have the code that you added to the theme, please paste it here using the code option in the forum toolbar. If not, just let me know.
Yeah I may need admin access to try a few things. The size of the image doesn’t appear large enough to cover the space…..in addition to that, the Parralax code may have something to do with it as well. The Parralax feature works by default, but I think the size of the image is what is causing it to not work right….I should be able to find out exactly what it is.
What would be best is if you can create a temporary FTP login. FTP login is the safest way to do this just in case there is an error during the process. It will allow us to revert/undo any mistakes without being locked out of the site.
Just making sure you’re able to see my reply? I set it as Private, so I’m not sure if you can see it or not.
If not, just send me an email using the Contact Form – https://appfinite.com/contact-us
Hi Wes,
Yes, I can see the reply 馃檪
Wes, thank you so much. Thank you so much.
Just got your email. Give me a sec and let me check this out. If I can figure something out I’ll let you know as soon as possible.
Question: Do you want/need the Parallax features? If not, then maybe your image will perform better as a background image. It doesn’t appear to look right do to it’s size (we can fix that). If you want to remove the Parallax features just let me know.
It’s difficult to run tests without FTP access……I don’t want to mistakenly have the site go down in case there is an error while testing code…..Thats how PHP code is….and WordPress uses PHP as their default code/base.
As mentioned before, if you use the default WordPress editor for the FTP files and an error is made, your entire site will go blank/white and there is no way to back out of it or undo the error since WordPress is based on PHP. If there is an error in the PHP code, the entire site will show a blank screen. With FTP, there is no need to worry about that happening since you can simply undo any mistake that is made, and the site will return to it’s previous state.
Just checking up, did you ever try and remove the Parallax?
