CustomerI’m having a strange problem with the blog images on my site using Ally. http://vistalawns.com/
On the blog page, the first post about Mole Control shows a picture with brown grass. That picture is nowhere in the actual blog post. Not embedded in the post, and not selected as the featured image. I want to use a different picture, but if I embed the one I want at the top of the post like all of the others, I still get this brown grass on the blog page.On another post, Fall Lawn Care: Key to Success for Spring, there is no picture showing on the blog page, even though there is a picture embedded at the top of the actual post, which shows up on the post page. That is the way I’ve done all of my posts. No featured image, just an image at the top of the post which shows up in the post, and on the blog page. My content archives is set to Display Post content, and the Include Featured Image button is checked.
I hope someone can clear this up for me.
Thanks,

CustomerAre you sure you don’t have anything added in your content? Because the image appears to be showing up in your content when I look at your source code. It doesn’t show up as a featured image, but it does show up as an image added inside of your content when looking at the raw source code.
Can you check your post content when you click the “text” tab in your post editor? Let me know if you see some code there that shouldn’t be there. If you want to create a temp user, I can login and check everything out.

CustomerI’ve spent about 30 min trying everything and I can’t figure out what it is!
No worries, I will try again early tomorrow. This is the first time I’ve ever seen this happen and I’ve been using WordPress/Genesis since the beginning. I am really curious what this could possibly be. I’m sure it must be something simple that I am missing (it could be right in front of my eyes).I’ll let you know tomorrow once I take a fresh look at things.

CustomerFigured it out, Jason. The plugin Shortcodes Ultimate was causing the conflict. I removed it, and added the featured image and the mystery image disappeared. Funny, because the only thing I used that for was columns on the homepage, which were easily replaced with Genesis column code, I didn’t really need the plugin anyway. Cross that plugin off my list of favorites!
Thanks,
