Hi,
I used the instructions at http://appfinite.com/topic/easy-way-to-setup-the-epik-homepage-in-one-click/ to setup the Epik homepage in one click. It worked great and I now have a good understanding of how to edit the home page in the same style as the demo. The problem is that now whatever page I set as my blog page appears with the static home page content instead of the blog posts. It didn’t do this before I did the import. What did it change and how do I fix it?
Thanks,
Pat
What are your front page settings on your “Reading” link from the Settings menu? It should be set to “Your latest posts”. If it is, then we’ll need to figure out what else may be going on.
If you have a link to your site that may help me see what’s going on.
Reading is set to display a static home page because that’s what I’m trying to do. Have a static home page and a separate blog page. So, the settings are: A Static Page and then Front Page to a page named Home and Posts Page to a page named Blog. If I then go into the pages section to confirm, the page named Home notes that it’s the Front Page and the page named Blog shows that it’s the Post Page.
The problem is that while the page named Home does in fact display the static content the page named Blog also shows the static content rather then displaying the blog posts.
I figured out what was going on. No need for further support.
