      Is it possible to use a graphic with name/email sign up auto responder code in the home page slider (at the moment the image is clicked to go through to linked squeeze page).

        If you’re referring to the Genesis Slider, then unfortunately you wouldn’t be able to do this since the plugin is limited and doesn’t offer many customization options. As mentioned in a previous thread, you could find a different slider through WordPress.org or CodeCanyon to see if one can handle this for you. Then you can place it inside of the Slider widget area, since you can use any slider you want.

          If I may offer a suggestion, Soliloquy Slider is fully responsive and now includes a place for you to put in HTML for the caption. It accepts all HTML and I tested it with a optin box shortcode and sure enough it showed up. You would need to play with the css to get the positioning where you want it.
