I have tried unsuccessfully multiple times to install both of the Oasis theme versions I was emailed after purchasing the theme from you. The new version results in a wordpress error message saying that the link has expired, and the old version results in a timeout error message. Could you please provide suggestions on how to install the theme? I’ve never experienced such error messages with any purchased themes before.
Hi,
Are you installing this on a live site that I can access? Or is it a local site?
If it’s something I can login into, then I can go ahead and see what’s going on. All I would need is a temporary login.
Is the Genesis Framework (Parent Theme) already installed? That would need to be installed before you install and activate Oasis.
I’d also check to make sure you have the latest version of WordPress updated.
I’ve never ran into this issue before, but I’m sure I can figure out what’s going on.
I believe that it’s an issue with the theme files rather than a wordpress issue. I have the genesis framework installed and activated and the latest version of wordpress – I’ve used many other themes that use the genesis framework and have never encountered an issue. Neither of the theme files that I was emailed after purchasing open properly. Specifically, the files oasis.zip and oasis-1-xmxclt.zip. Are these the correct files?
Yes the files are working fine. I have the same files working here – https://demo.appfinite.net/oasis/ and I’ve also just re-downloaded and tested on a local demo server as well. They are both working normally. I haven’t came across anyone else running into this issue either. I’m wondering if there is a problem with your host?
Can you try downloading from your account page – https://appfinite.com/my-account/downloads/ and then uploading again? I would download the latest version of the Oasis and give that a try.
If you would like for me to log in and upload them for you to see whats going on, just let me know. I’d be more than happy to help.
Thank you, I think I’ve got it working.
Awesome! Glad to hear!
