Hi, I can’t get this theme to work properly as in the demo.

The front main home is in a broken looking masonry style. I can only get something vaguely as you have it when I create a page for the front with blog template, but even then no sidebar with logo and menu as you have it in the sidebar.

    Any helps appreciated!

Do you have a link so I can see what’s going on?

    here

yeah can’t get the front page configured at all like in your demo.

Also, I deactivated ALL plug-ins, even deleting genesis folder and reuploading it.

Ah, disregard I think I got the gist of it. Sorry I was expecting my blog posts to simply populate.

Eric, some funkiness I wanted to mention.
When I was inserting various widgets the initial sidebar on the left got nixed. There were widgets therein but the sidebar up and vanished when I’d added widgets to other widget areas (home page feat posts, for example). I’d just like to know what the dealio is for future reference so that I’m not paranoid when moving things around will cause layout breakage without logical reason.

I’ve never used this theme before so I had to get it from Wes to take a look. If you check out the Read Me file it says to do this for the sidebar –

The header, logo, and menu will only show up on the left sidebar. The primary and sub nav menus have been disabled, if you want to add a menu, you will need to add the “Custom Menu” widget to the “Header Right” widget area in your widgets section.

Does that help? If not just let me know

P.S. I’ll have to play around more with this theme since it appears to be setup different than the others. Wes has mentioned in another thread that there will be a massive update to it for Genesis 2.0/HMTL5….just so you know.
