      How do I adjust the styling of the Genesis Featured Post widget when used on the home page. I would like to be able to make the background match the home page section where the widget is placed (instead of white box) and I would also like to be able to adjust the text elements (title size etc.). I’ve read through dozens of posts and can’t seem to find what I’m looking for.

      Thanks for your help

        Do you have a link to your site with the widget in place? I can look at it and tell you where you’ll need to edit in your css.

        Wes will have an update for that soon I believe (seen another post where he mentioned it).

            You could add this to your css –

            .home .entry {
                background: none;
            }

            That will remove the background color for anywhere that widget is added to the homepage.
