      Hi,

I had found this once but I need to change the dark blue (or blue) to a different blue for a project (to match a clients logo colors). Where do I change this?

      Thanks,
      Hutch

Take a look in your Genesis Theme Settings page near the top.

Hi. I’m needing to use a color other than one of the ones in the theme and am wondering where to find the code. I cant find it in the style.css for the theme.

The theme colors are always near the bottom right before the responsive section of the css…..but you’ll need to do a little bit more than that to create another color scheme. You can Google how to do this and a lot of tutorials should show up. Here are a few –

What I did was a helluva lot simpler ~ I just took one of the standard theme colors I didn’t want to use ~ “Epik-Blue” I think it was ~ and then did a global search and replace for the color code in ‘style.css’ ~ find “color: #xxxxxx” replace with “color: #yyyyyy”.

                Worked for me.

                Terence.

Terence – That’s exactly what I ended up doing. I searched/replaced on the Epik Blue and it seems to have worked great.

Hi guys…sounds great. So did you went through all instances where #xxxx appears and then replace them manually for #yyyy, or is there another way of doing this.
                    You help is much appreciated
