I feel the font for the elevate theme is too heavy… how do I reduce the weight or change the font?

You can do this by either editing your CSS or creating your own custom CSS to override it. Depends how you want to do it.

If you’re going to edit the style.css file directly, then you could open up the editor, and basically do a search for anywhere you see this – font-weight: 500;. Then replace that number with 400, 300, etc. You can search by using the command + F buttons (if you’re on Mac) and Control + F if you’re on PC.

I went ahead and changed it on the demo to 400. If you take a look you’ll notice it’s a little lighter. A few others asked how to do this, so I just changed it since it seems that’s what most users prefer instead of the heavy font. I’ll include this in the next update.

It should only take a couple seconds to change the weight. Let me know if you need assistance.
