I’m looking to make changes to the site footer so that the copyright is not attributed to the Genesis theme, etc… I’ve looked through all of studiopress’s resources and materials and can’t find a good way to do this. When I open Genesis’s footer.php file it explicitly states in the php notes that the file should never be changed, for no reason, ever.
So my question is: how do I change my site footer?
Thanks,
John
Take a look at the code snippets page on StudioPress for this – http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/entry-footer/ ….and you can choose any of those 3 methods of changing the code.
Let me know if that helps, of if you need assistance with replacing your code/text.
