      Not sure why I didn’t notice this sooner, but the URL for the main blog page that I just setup for a new website is /template/blog. How can I make it /blog? I tried to edit the Permalink on the page in question, but /template is uneditable.

        Have you already tried creating a Blog Page? If not, create a Page and title it “Blog”, then select the Blog Template in the right sidebar and let me know if that works.

          BTW, when I clicked the old link it’s redirecting to the new page. Why is that? Does WordPress handle 301 Redirects automatically?

            I think so. The same thing has happened to me each time I’ve had a typo and changed the url.
