Classik is now HTML5 and is developed to work with Genesis 2.0+
If you’ve already made a lot of changes to your theme files (style.css for example), then upgrading is not necessary, as your theme will still work fine with Genesis 2.0. If you haven’t made too many changes, then feel free to make the upgrade.
