What am I doing wrong here?
I hired a guy to design my site based off Epik theme and it turned out he wasn’t a designer. So I am basically starting over and since he had not gotten that far I figured I would update to 1.3 so I would have HTML 5 from the start. Let me just say I have almost zero idea what I am doing as evidenced by my old site http://www.roiautosolutions.com which I did almost entirely myself.
Please help, if I need to just start over from scratch that is not a big deal as this site has never gone live and all the content is sitting in word docs.
Thanks,
Mark
If it were me I’d just start over fresh to make things easier. You may also want to double check any custom code you’ve added, because I noticed part of the layout is off. That usually happens when you forget an opening or closing tag in your html code. For example – if you add an opening <div>
make sure you close it out with – </div>
….and the same thing goes for all other html tags. That could be it, or it could be an error somewhere else in your code. It’s hard to tell from my end, but you could just remove each widget one by one (just move them into the inactive widget area so you don’t have to delete them) and then you’ll see which one is causing the error.
Thank you very much, I will try that and if it does not work I will just start over. I am sure I will have ton of other questions as I go as I plan to use some different sliders to make up for my lack of design and PS knowledge.
Sure, just let me know if you have any other questions.
