Customizer Disappeared

      The customizer interface has disappeared in Epik. It shows up in the “Appearace” submenu, but there is nothing there.

      I have some minor customizations in the functions file – concerning removing admin bar – I tried deleting them and it didn’t return the customizer interface.

      Other than that, I have a couple of page templates with nothing but styles attached to them, and style changes to the stylesheet.

      I do have several plugins.

      I see that other people have had this problem – it isn’t good. I can’t change the logo, for example. Any ideas?

        That’s weird, I’ve built a lot of sites with Epik and never had this issue, nor have I seen anyone else with it either. My guess is you probably need to first make sure you are upgraded to the latest WordPress, Genesis, and Epik theme.

        Next, you’ll need to go through each and every plugin and uninstall them one by one to see if one of them are the cause.

        Also check any custom code that you may have added to see if that can be the cause of what’s interfering with it.

          I was going to say the exact same thing as @Jason. Definitely check those plugins to see if any of them are causing the issue. I have seen a situation where someone was using an old/outdated plugin that was causing something similar to happen….plus a number of other issues as well.

          By making sure you’re using updated and compatible plugins with WordPress will usually prevent this from happening. It’s definitely not Epik that is causing this as there isn’t anything inside of the Child theme that would prevent that from showing up.

          Just keep us updated so we can help you get this figured out.

            The problem seems to be WLM. I am trying to work with them to figure it out. I will keep you posted.
